Thank you all for a brilliant competition yesterday, from my point of view you made running it really simple. At the bottom of the page is a quick summary of the results buta full breakdown for more detailed analysis is available HERE.
A big well done to Brian Sharpe for taking FTD in the road going micra. The sharp(e) showers helped offset the power and grip deficits to the fastest classes and a penalty free run all day took the award away from Bert Greenaway in his Bertone special by under 5 marks.
Carl Dale secured the fastest clubman award in his minisport special and a special mention must go the other clubmen who made up class E in the MX5's. I understand Sunday was Richard and John's first attempts at autotesting and only Ben's second and they seemed to have got the hang of it very well.
The final award winner was Steve Connor in the PCA class. Having agreed to double drive in Mike Burrow's Puma he got to grips with it quickly and took the class award.
A big thank you again to Ernie for drawing the tests and to Lynn for managing the results all day. Despite my calculator causing issues, the results were spot on (I've just tidied them up).
As always I'm interested in any feedback for the event (Good, bad, ugly) and also in any pictures or videos you took. I can then put together a gallery on our club website and (if you're happy to) people can swap images as I know how rare it is to get a photo of yourself competing.
I'll let you know when the Spring autotest regs are out (Date at the start of April) and see you there,
Mark Dunkerley (CofC)
Autumn Autotest being run by Mark Dunkerley with tests by Ernie Burles.
We're back at our traditional venue of the Warminster Services for the autotest this autumn.
We will be running classes for Nat B, Clubmans and a Production Car Autotest (PCA).
For the PCA, it will be forwards only and you will need a passenger to show you which way to go.
