The 2018 edition of the Aquae Sulis Tour offers around 100 miles of East Wiltshire and North Somerset countryside.
This year the tour will start from the Georgian City of Bath where you have an opportunity to see some of the famous buildings during the beginning of the tour.
The route will travel through East Wiltshire to a lunch stop at Wilton House, near Salisbury, set in 22 acres of parkland and gardens. Here you will have ample time to enjoy the gardens, the house, visit the Earl of Pembroke’s classic car collection and take some refreshments in the restaurant.
After lunch the route will travel through North Somerset to finish at our regular venue at Orchardleigh Golf Club in the beautiful Orchardleigh Estate near Frome for the usual high quality carvery meal.
The entry fee for the tour will be £75 per car, with an optional £5 per entry for our chosen charity, the Great Western Air Ambulance.
For this entry fee, you will receive an easy to read comprehensive Tulip style road book, an Aquae Sulis Tour rally plate, each entrant will receive one email photograph from our super official photographer, Andy Manston, entrance to the grounds and café at Wilton House, a breakfast roll and drink at the start and a choice of a 4 meat carvery meal at the finish.
After a very successful event again in 2017 we encourage you to enter early as the event is limited to 55 and has been over subscribed in past years.
Thank you to everyone who supported the 2017 Aquae Sulis Tour.
The annual Aquae Sulis Tour ran very successfully over a scenic Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset route of 110 miles with a full 56 car entry list with a wonderful group of superb cars ranging from the earliest car, a 1937 Austin Ten Ripley sports through to the more recent Porsche 911 Carrera.
The weather was superb as was the route and the venues all played their part to make a special day.
As usual Orchardleigh Golf Club provided an excellent breakfast and carvery meal at the finish. Thanks to the generosity of the participants and Bath MC we are able to donate a further £374 to the Great Western Air Ambulance (Details Here)
We once again have a report from Geoff and Pat Sutton in their (MR2) which gives a flavour of the day from the driving seat. Available to view HERE.
