WELCOME TO BATH MOTOR CLUB
Summer AutoSolo - 4th August - Entries Open
Entries open on Monday 24th June for the Summer AutoSolo at Kemble Airfield. Regs are on the AutoSolo page and the entry form will follow on the 24th. The latest entries can be found on the AutoSolo page.
Autosolos are a timed tarmac course open to all road going cars. There is no requirement for modifications to the car so it is a great way of getting your first taste of competitive motorsport.
Bath Motor club has produced a beginners guide to Autosolos HERE if you are thinking of trying the sport out. One of the best ways to get a flavour of the event is to come out and marshal for the day, helping us run the event safely and getting close to the action.
Charity Donation - West Country Rescue
On the 17th May, Bath Motor Club ran an evening with David Richards; a chance to hear stories about David’s time as a champion co-driver, a winning team owner and now as the chairman of Motorsport UK.
The proceeds of the evening were split between David Richard’s charity, the BRDC motor sport charity, and our own, West Country Rescue, who do such an excellent job in South West on motor sport events.
The sum of money that was raised for our charity, West Country Rescue was £600 and this was presented to them by Dave Whittock at the Bath Motor Club Rally Preparation Services ASWMC Championship Autocross that ran on Saturday and Sunday June 1st/2nd 2019.
Many thanks to David Richards and also to Henry Williams at Williams Automobiles for arranging things so well that evening.
Rally Preparation Services Ltd Autocross - 1st & 2nd June
Bath Motor Club came back into running Autocross with a bang with a fantastic double header at Long Newnton. The competitor feedback has been good even if the weather on the Sunday took a turn for the worse.
Full results for both the Saturday and Sunday are available on the Autocross page.
