Taster Scatter - 16th Feb 2018
Five Crews turned out on Friday evening and left the Rose and Crown armed with Mike Ps 34 locations to plot and visit.
The results were very close and were as follows
= 1st. Matt Baker/Mike Burrows 85 marks
=1st. Ketih Emery/ Gavin Rogers 85 marks
3rd Steve Connor/Jerry Pennell 80 marks
4th. Ken and Sarah Binstead 75 marks
5th, Mark Griffiths/Craig Selman 65 marks
A couple of notes
Matt and Mike could have been 95 but being penalised 10 marks for arriving late.
Ken and Sarah failed to visit the travelling marshal costing them 25 marks which would have made their score to 100
I Hope all enjoyed themselves, great pity there were'nt more entrants.
Mike Patton and John Earl will once again be putting on a Taster Scatter, this year taking place on Friday 16th February.
Scatters are a fantastic beginners event with no set route to follow and no timing (except to be back at the start by 10pm) it is an easy and fun night at the start of the year.
Being a Taster event means that there is no need to already be a club member and being road based, means that you can use any basic road legal car.
Signing on is from 6:30pm and the first car is away at 7:30pm.
To enter, just read the simply regulations below and drop an email to Mike Patton in advance.
