The club has had since its inception had a club stand at the Bath Festival of Motoring and once again for the 13th time in 2026 we had an excellent stand full of interesting cars.
The event organised by Bath Rotary Club collects excellent sums of money for their named charities. These being for 2026, Freewheelers (Emergency Voluntary Blood Bike Service), Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance and Glasshouse Academy (Nurturing Bath’s Next Generation).
On Saturday we had a full stand of 12 cars, these being the following:
- Stan Cole 1970 Mini Cooper S
- Duncan Stonier’s 1962 Volvo Amazon 122s rally car entered for the HERO Le Jog in January 2027
- Steve Conner MK 1 VW Golf
- Richard Paviour 1972 Ford Escort Mexico
- Richard Batt 1998 Mini RSP
- Alan Bailey 1963 MK 2 Austin Healey Sprite
- Wendy Scotford Citroen 2CV Special
- Dave Speak MGA
- Keith Wilson 1968 VW Beetle 1500
- Mike Dawe works MG Maestro ex Tony Pond rally car
- Andy Cross with his Morris Minor race car “Bluebell”
- Geoff Pinch 1950 Allard K1 with 4 ½ litres on supercharged V8 engine
On Sunday we had 10 cars comprising of:

There was plenty of interest on the stand on both days about the cars and club events and activities.
